I will make a thread!

Rolex: That's awesome. Low-key Rolex doing what it does best: life...

That reminds me that I need to take my FF Bathyscaphe swimming and might get the occasion this summer (in admittedly cold water). Any good recommendations for water-based cameras that won't run me too much $$$?

TAG Heuer: Yeah.

I wish all service techs were capable. Obviously that's not true, there are duds in every profession. Still, the faults on display feel so basic that I cannot but agree with you. Servicing is like sending your watch to the void and hoping it ends up with someone competent and caring.

TAG Heuer: Small, but unacceptable.

That's just unprofessional.

TAG Heuer: They left marks?

Good lord. If you can show us, that would be great.

Girard Perregaux: Wonderful watch,

I really enjoy that you can see the movement; a rarity with quartz pieces.

Horological Meandering: I can only speak to one.

Visited IWC; fantastic experience. They were very kind, accommodating, and showed us just about everything. They also let us try jewel setting and perlage. Very cool if you want to see what industrially mighty watchmaking looks like!
