Omega: Good observation. The introduction date for tritium is in dispute . . .

. . . with a consensus of early '60s as most likely. The dial of Nicolas' 105.002 subject does not have 'T' markings, but the badging of tritium dials likely occurred after its debut by at least a year or two. So yes, the degradation could well be due to tritium, even though the dial doesn't indicat

Omega: I was wearing my '69 pre-Moon last week . . .

. . . starting Tuesday until Tuesday of this week. Switched to the GS Tuesday afternoon because I was due to meet up with former colleague and dear friend Ken Wednesday night. Would you believe he was wearing a solar Seiko? And that he's trying to get a Snoopy?

Omega: Dial is tops in my book . . .

Automotive: Not originally, Miki. There might've been TRACO 302s with cross-ram Holleys . . .

Automotive: That's a '70.5 Z-28 . . .

. . . powered by an LT-1 350. I saw a '69 Z-28 302 yesterday on the 118 Freeway - silver with black stripes. Driver was my age, reliving his teenage dreams. ;-)

Horological Meandering: 30K posts for KMII! Please join me in congratulating him . . .

. . . on the milestone. I've had the pleasure of meeting our K once, and hope to again when Cap or Nico throw a Euro g-t-g in 2026, in time for our community's 25th anniversary.
